Please don’t go girl – #TuesdayTunes
When I was 10 years old my music taste revolved around New Kids on the Block. I mean seriously this was before I decided that long hair and tattoos were better than boy bands. And though my music taste has changed over the years I still can enjoy my favorite boy band from my childhood. Especially since my children absolutely do not like the song "Please Don't Girl" I find that it is best to keep … [Read more...]

Yes I feed my children chocolate muffins for breakfast
And they were good too..... It was amusing though that my youngest insisted that chocolate muffins were not for breakfast. While he ate them of course. My oldest had no complaints and neither did I. The odd thing was we had desert for breakfast and had breakfast for … [Read more...]

And like George Eliot said it is never too late: I hope that this quote inspires someone … [Read more...]
Oh my! Yummy Teriyaki Chicken
I will start by saying that this isn't a full blown recipe, just me kind of telling what I did. Anyway I had it in my head that I wanted to have Chinese food for dinner one night this week. But I didn't want to get take out (too much money) or get frozen. So I decided to make it at home. To start with I picked up a bottle of Teriyaki sauce and some crushed red peppers. Already sounds good … [Read more...]
The Leaving Song Part I – Tuesday Tunes
One of my favorite bands since I first heard their music years ago was the band AFI. I don't think I have ever heard one of their songs that I didn't like. One of my favorite songs by AFI is The Leaving Song. Both parts of course. The Leaving Song Part I has to be one of the most beautiful songs that I have ever heard in my life. So beautiful that it always touches me deeply when I hear it. … [Read more...]

I found this floating around on Facebook and I can't help but to think of how true it is: I think this is true for marriages and relationships alike. If some developed this philosophy I bet many relationships could have been saved! Hopefully this will inspire someone to look at their relationship a little more and focus on it and save it. … [Read more...]
