I received my Instant Pot back in December for Christmas. It is most definitely my favorite kitchen gadget and I am always looking for new and fun recipes to make in it. My goal is also to create my own versions like I have shared on my blog for years. I’ve made so many things in the Instant Pot that I’ve not even shared yet, but I wanted to share this one with you guys because for most families Spaghetti is a favorite and of course a dinner rotation staple.
So, of course, I had to make my own Easy Instant Pot Spaghetti. That has only 5 ingredients!
Easy Instant Pot Spaghetti Recipe:
For this recipe, I used an 8qt Instant Pot Lux. So it may need to be adjusted for your own Instant Pot.
Ingredients:
- 1lb Italian Sausage
- 1lb Ground Beef
- 28oz of your Favorite canned Spaghetti Sauce
- 2lbs of Spaghetti Noodles
- 1 Cup of Shredded Parmesaan Cheese
How to make this yummy creation:
- Using the Saute function on the instant pot brown the Italian Sausage and Ground Beef. I usually brown them together because it helps the flavors come out.
- Drain the fat from the beef.
- Place the spaghetti noddles in the pot by breaking them in half. It helps to kind of criss cross them over each other so that they don’t stick together. I know it can’t help for some of them to stick together even if you boil them.
- Pour the Spaghettie Sauce over the noodles and beef.
- Pour around two cans of water over the meat, sauce and noodles covering the noodles. Just cover them.
- Put your lid on the Instant Pot and make sure your vent is set to sealing.
- Set to manual for 8 mins.
- When your time is up, do a Quick Release on the Instant Pot.
- After you open the lid it may seem a little liquidy, but stir it and break up any noodles that may be stuck together and the water seems to blend and there isn’t much at all.
- Add the Parmesaan cheese and stir, it gives it some creaminess and a bit of extra flavor.
My kids loved this one and I loved it be cause it was so simple and honestly there was less cleanup!
