This Slow Cooker Dr Pepper Pork Chops Recipe will always be a family favorite in our house. It’s easy to make, basically, just drop in the ingredients and go and it tastes delicious.
Here is the recipe that I use to make this tasty dish that of course has a can of Dr. Pepper and is easy peasy in the crock pot or slow cooker which ever you call it.
Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper Pork Chops Recipe
- 4-6 pork chops
- 1 can Dr. Pepper
- 12 oz ketchup or chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Place all ingredients in the crock pot (stir them of course).
- Cook on low for 6 hours or until the pork chops are cooked through. Remove the chops and whisk in 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (or flour) to thicken the sauce into a gravy.
- Serve over rice.
I would also like to let mention just how tender the pork chops are and how they fall right off the bone if you use bone-in pork chops. Enjoy and tell me how much you like them!
*Post update 12/18/21-I made Crock Pot Dr. Pepper Pork Chops for the first time in about a year. And my now-grown kids were at home after their jobs asking when it would be ready! I also used my 8 quart Instant Pot on Slow Cooker mode to make my pork chops this time and they turned out just as great as in the slow cooker.

I got a slow cooker for Christmas and like trying new recipes. Thank you!
I absolutely Love this recipe!
The pork was tender, but it was rather bland. I think I did something wrong? I did the chili sauce instead of the ketchup, next time, I will try the ketchup!
I tried the Dr Pepper pork chops. I have never seen my kids eat so much as they did with this recipe. Normally my kids only eat one pork chop, but I did this one and They keep wanting more of them! Thank you for these recipes on your website. They are easy to follow and they are fun to get your kids in on them too.
